At
Yorkys 4 U, we used to "hold" puppies for people without a
deposit. We can no longer do this for these reasons.....
Most people have the best of intentions when they ask you to "hold" a
puppy for them... usually, it's because they cannot get here to see the
puppy
before someone else can. A lot of people will ask us to "hold" a
puppy because, they say.. " I definately want this puppy, can you
please
hold it until Friday for me?" Then, we hold the puppy and they
call
and say that they have "changed their mind".
Some people say "Can you please hold him until Friday for me...?
I
don't get paid until Friday??" Then, you never hear from them
again!
In the meantime, several other well deserving people are calling...
desperately
looking for a new friend and we are telling them that we no longer have
any
available puppies!
We don't mean to be insensitive to anyone looking for a new
puppy!
Therefore, we cannot "hold" a puppy without a deposit.
When we "hold" puppies, and the person changes their mind... We
lose potential sales!
A deposit ensures that you will have first pick of the available
puppies!
If you are unable to make it here personally, to make your deposit, ...
we will
be happy to give you four (4) days to mail a check, or pay through
paypal **
with an added fee **
Our deposits are non-refundable, and usually run a third to half the
price of
the puppy.
This way everyone gets an opportunity to get their hands on a new
friend
without the run-around!
So, Please don't ask us to "hold" a puppy for you without a
deposit..... !

Deposits are non-refundable! If a deposit is put on a puppy and
the puppy
is not picked up, you will not be given a refund. You will,
however, have
the opportunity to put that deposit towards another puppy of equal
value, if it
is mutually agreed upon prior to puppy departure date. If
another puppy
is not available at that time, you will be given the option to wait for
another
puppy, or get your deposit back. Refunds are always given at the
discretion of the breeder.
