These
are some of our most frequently asked questions....
Do you ship?
We only ship puppies that are big
and strong enough for shipping. There are only certain times of the
year that puppies can be shipped due to extreme weather conditions. We
only ship on flights that have no stops between the kennel location and
the puppy's destination. T-cups are almost never shipped
! See our Shipping Requirements Page
for more
information.
What
are your payment methods?
Cash is preferred! Checks are
gladly accepted as long as they are on BB&T, State Emp. Credit
Union, or Bank of America accounts. Any other banking institution
check requires an additional $5.00 due to extra charges at the
bank (This charge may be negotiable, if discussed
with us prior to payment). Paypal is also gladly accepted,
although there is an
additional small fee for paypal charges that are charged to the
seller. Full
payments are required to clear before the puppy leaves this kennel !
What
are the sizes and prices of your puppies?
They range in size from T-cups (2
to 4 lbs) on
up to larger ones of 9 or 10 pounds. The prices range from: T-cup
females @ $1500.00 to $3500.00 and males @ $1500.00 to $2000.00
to large females @ $600.00 and
males @ $500.00. The smaller the dog... the more expensive.
And the females almost always cost more than the males.
Do you
take deposits?
We do not take deposits on any
unborn puppies! We will take deposits on existing litters,
however prices are usually not set until puppies are at least 4 to 6
weeks old. This gives us time to determine an accurate estimate
of size for each puppy.
Deposits are usually
half
the price
of the puppy, but this is negotiable.
None of our puppies leave here before the age of 7 or 8 weeks.
Do you
guarantee size or color of your puppies?
At Yorkys 4 U, We never guarantee
size or color of our puppies! We can give you a best estimate on
size, but we cannot even begin to estimate a puppy's adult coat
color. The
color of the coat can change for up to 2 years.
Size estimates are based on our
experience of many years of breeding Yorkshire Terriers. Many
times, the build, length of legs, and appetite will determine the adult
weight and size of your individual dog. Spaying and neutering
will also play an important factor in the adult weight of your
particlular dog.
We do offer a health
guarantee against all genetic defects!
What
vaccinations do your puppies get?
All of our puppies are vaccinated
against:
Distemper
Parvovirus
Leptospirosis
Parainfluenza
and Coronavirus
Each puppy is vaccinated at least
once before leaving this kennel, sometimes more.
Wormings are started at two weeks
of age and repeated every week or two thereafter.
Rabies vaccinations are not given
unless the puppy stays here past 4 months of age.
